Operatives of Osun Amotekun Corps have arrested a 37-year-old man, Sola Ajibade, from Ibadan, Oyo State for burgling a house at Ode-Omu and stealing a 32-inch Plasma TV.
The suspect who specializes in House Burgling and stealing was arrested by the operatives of Amotekun at Ode-Omu, Osun State after a complaint was lodged at Irewole Area Command against the attack of the suspect, the operatives swung into action immediately and he was arrested on the spot.
Confirming the arrest to newsmen in Osogbo, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi said the suspect was arrested at Ode-Omu after burgling a house and stealing a Plasma 32 inch TV, a complaint was lodged at Irewole Area Command on the activities of the suspect and the operatives swung into action immediately and apprehended the culprit.
“During investigation, the suspect confessed to commiting the act and that he is a serial buglar. He said he always dispose stolen items at Mokola, Ibadan”, Adewinmbi said.
The suspect has been handed over to the police for subsequent interrogation and prosecution.
