Amotekun Arrests Three Teenagers For Burglary, Theft

Three teenagers have been arrested by the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps for alleged burglary and theft.

The teenagers’ names were given as Adekunle Yinka (18 years old) who lives at Kota in Omuo Ekiti, a 17-year-old Babatunde Japheth residing in Omuo-Ekiti and a 16-year-old Sunday Taiwo, also a resident of Omuo-Ekiti.

In a press release signed by the Head of the Communications Department of the Amotekun Corps Command in Ekiti State, Adeleye Adewale, he revealed that the teenagers broke into some shops belonging to an Igbo resident in Omuo Ekiti where they carted away some items in the process.

Adeleye narrated how luck ran out on them as they were caught red-handed while perpetrating their nefarious acts at the time the Amotekun Operatives of the Ekiti East Local Government Area were patrolling the area.

He said some exhibits were recovered from them.

The three suspects along with the exhibits recovered from them have since been handed over to the Omuo Ekiti Police Division for further investigations.
