Anambra APC Governoship Aspirants Pay N22.5 Million

Governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the coming Anambra State Governorship primary of the party will pay a total of N22.5 million.

The party in its schedule of activities released on Thursday, fixed its Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at N2.5 million and N20 million respectively, bringing the total to N22.5 million.

However, only 50 percent of the amount will be paid by women and physically challenged aspirants.

The Sale of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for governorship tickets would commence on April 15 and end on September 10. All forms and accompanying documents are expected to be submitted not later than June 8, 2021, this is according to Al-Mustapha Medaner, the APC Director of Organisation.

He also announced June 12 as the date for “publication of claims and objections while screening appeals will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021”.

The Anambra Governorship poll is scheduled to hold by November 6th by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
