The lawmaker representing Awka-South 1 State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nnamdi Okafor, is reportedly dead.
According to Punch, the lawmaker died on Tuesday night in South Africa.
Okafor, who is the Majority Leader of the State Assembly, is a second-term legislator. Okafor was elected into the House of Assembly in 2015 on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
