Announce Your Membership Of PDP, Tinubu Group Urges Odumakin

A socio political group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation has called on the publicity secretary of the Fasoranti faction of the Afenifere group, Mr Yinka Odumakin to stop pretending but rather call a press conference to officially announce his membership of the People’s Democratic Party PDP .

The group urged Mr Odumakin not to kill Afenifere with his self serving activities.

Speaking with our correspondent in Ado Ekiti , the national coordinator of the group, Otunba Adeleye Akintola said Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has served Nigeria in various capacities to build the economy and human capital which Odumakin himself is a beneficiary.

The group said “Asiwaju knows where the shoe pinches Nigerians and he is doing his best to assist President Buhari in that regard. Where was Odumakin’s Afenifere when Mimiko administration was owing civil servants salary in Ondo State?  Oh! Its fair and pardonable because Mimiko is his friend and benefactor. Why is it always convenient for Odumakin to criticise the APC elements in Afenifere ?”

The group said that “Nigerians are yet to forget the ignoble roles he played during the pipeline racketeering contract under the unproductive government of PDP and Goodluck Jonathan.”

The AGF however urged Yinka Odumakin to speak for himself rather than insulting the collective sensibilities of the Yoruba people noting that the Yoruba nation is not a nation that will submerge herself under the torment of corrupt individuals or agenda targeted at retarding the progress of Nigeria.

Adeleye implored Nigerians to reject the recent gang up against the development of the country in their best interest.

The group assured their fellow countrymen that President Buhari has zero tolerance for corruption and that a nation free of corruption will be better for it.
