Anxiety Over Alleged Death Of Two Monarchs

Anxieties have heightened in the two communities of Edunabon and Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government of Osun over the speculations that the royal fathers in the communities have died.

There have been speculations in the communities that the monarchs have died, as uncertainty has trailed their health.

A resident of Edunabon told OSUN DEFENDER that the market around the palace of the monarch has been devoid of buying and selling, saying, though commercial activities in the town continued, but not around the palace premises.

Also in Ipetumodu, there was unusual calmness in the town, while residents gathered to discuss the state of the health of their monarch in low-tune.

OSUN DEFENDER investigation revealed that the monarch’s health was uncertain, as he had been hospitalised in Lagos for sometimes, while his wife had been holding sway for close to six months.

The investigation from the Security man at the gate only revealed that the monarch was out of town and that his wife was also unavailable, saying, he could not make any comment about the health of the traditional ruler.
