Hon Sikirulahi Ogundele, Chairman, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun State chapter has tagged the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party a cult group and described its members as Cultists.
The Ogun State PDP Chairman, stated this at the party secretariat while addressing newsmen on Wednesday.
Ogundele told journalists that his party, (PDP) remained the only political party in the real definition of political party and that was why members of the APC were willing to join the party.
Ogundele in his statement stated, “Many people especially APC members are set to join PDP, those who have decamped from our party to the APC before now are now ready to return and they have confied in us. We are not unaware the predicaments they are facing there. In fact, the real APC members are ready to decamp to our great party. This is because they know we are the only one running a political party in Nigeria.
“APC is not running political party, They operate a cult group. If you don’t belong, you cannot belong”.
According to Ogundele, he narrated that APC has given a new definition to democracy, as government of a few set of people for a few set of people”.
He further said that the APC administration has no effect on the lives of the citizens, what they are doing is jamboree with no effect on the people and Ogun State is a good example.
He urged members of both factions who attended the peace resolution meeting to set aside their difference towards successful political outing come 2023 and assured members that nobody would discriminate against in the scheme of things.
