APC Members Slam Jamiu Olawumi Over Post Attacking Oyetola, Oyebamiji
Members of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State have slammed the former Special Adviser on Education to the immediate past governor of the state, Jamiu Olawumi, over a post attacking the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, and one of the governorship aspirants under the party, Bola Oyebamiji.
Olawumi had posted a story on his Facebook page where a sociopolitical group, Osun Political Frontiers, expressed deep concern over the activities of the immediate past Governor and the APC gubernatorial aspirant.
In the now-deleted post, the group had warned both Oyetola and Oyebamiji to desist from undermining the achievements of President Bola Tinubu in Osun State.
The group noted that the continuous circumvention of the programmes and projects of the President for personal ego and promotion of political profile was no longer acceptable.
After posting the story, members of the party who were loyalists of the Marine Minister have attacked the former aide.
Some of the members also threatened to use the point against Olawumi in the future.
They queried why the former aide would attack his benefactor.
