The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expelled the party’s executives at all levels in Zamfara State.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the party, Yekini Nabena.
According to him, all supposed party factions in the state have now been dissolved following the development.
Nabena also noted that the NWC-inaugurated committee for the state will conduct the Governorship and Legislative primaries.
“The Zamfara State Governor, Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari and the dissolved executives in the state should not interfere in the primary elections in the state,” he said.
The development comes barely 24 hours to the governorship primary and 48 hours to the legislative primary.
