APC Will Get Bulk Votes In Ede If I Clinch Senatorial Ticket – Adewinbi
A former Commandant of Osun State Amotekun Corp, Brig Gen. Bashir Adewinbi (retd.), has said the All Progressives Congress would get a bulk vote in Ede town if he clinches the Osun West Senatorial ticket.
Adewinbi who stated this while addressing journalists at his country home in Ede on Monday, also said the APC would win the August 15, 2026 gubernatorial election.
The senatorial aspirant said he aspires to help the masses, noting that people are ready to vote for him massively if he emerges as the senatorial candidate of the APC.
He added that even though the incumbent governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke is from Ede, he would win the town for the APC in the forthcoming elections.

Adewinbi said, “I have collected the Senatorial ticket form and if I am given the ticket to go to the National Assembly, I have a lot to contribute. I am godly. I don’t have to take something that does not belong to me, but rather to help the masses.
“Ede is the seat of Osun Accord today but I am a son of the soil. I was born and brought up in Ede. My parents lived in Ede. I am a popular son in Ede and based on my antecedents and how I have been relating with my people, they are ready to vote for me massively.
“Both the APC and PDP people are calling and telling me they are ready to vote for me if I get the ticket because I don’t discriminate when I do welfare for anybody. I don’t ask, are you APC or PDP? I do it for everybody. I have overwhelming support in Ede.”
