APC Youths Storm Abuja Secretariat, Protest Ganduje’s Suspension
Some youths in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on Wednesday, protested the suspension of the National Chairman of the the party, Abdulahi Ganduje.
The youths as well as other party supporters from across the country stormed the party’s national secretariat in Abuja in solidarity with Ganduje.
The youths, under the aegis of the APC Democratic Front, condemned the purported suspension of Ganduje by his ward in Dawakin-Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.
OSUN DEFENDER earlier reports that the Kano State High Court has affirmed Ganduje’s suspension following an ex parte order restraining him from further parading himself as a member of APC.
However, in his address, the convener of the APC youth accused opposition parties of instigating a crisis in the ruling party.
“We must remain vigilant against opposition elements and internal saboteurs who seek to undermine our chairman’s efforts.
“We therefore warn those impostors and fifth columnists who are hell-bent on dragging our noble party to the mud to desist from their nefarious activities and refrain from dragging Dr. Ganduje’s name.
“Let’s all come together and unite in our support for economic policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that are geared towards bettering the lives of the poor masses of our country and liberating them from economic strangulation,” he said.
