Appeal Court Dismisses PDP Petitions Against Akeredolu Re-election

 

The Appeal court sitting in Akure has dismissed the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede against the reelection of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The five man panel upheld the judgement of the tribunal which validated the reelection of governor Akeredolu.
The appellate court said the appeal filed by Jegede lacked merit.
