Aregbesola Combines Cerebral Ingenuity With Political Sagacity – Odunlade

As the former Governor of the State of Osun and the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola celebrates his 63rd Birthday, the former Commissioner for Social Protection, Sports and Special Needs, Comrade Biyi Odunlade has felicitated with him.

Odunlade in a statement on Monday said the former Governor is a special creature as the God given talents he possesses endears him to all.

According to the former commissioner, the former Governor’s personality of selflessness and in-built leadership traits has positioned him to be one of the foremost detrabilised Nigerians of note.

Aregbesola’s innovations and contributions to nation building especially his efforts at building a modern Osun which he successfully achieved in 8 years is a testament to the politics of progressivism which he represents.

“You are a rare Gem. Everywhere you have served and still serving, your leadership has taught us to combine courage with discipline, self-denial, progressivism, embodiment of transparency and accountability plus the enduring legacies you have built.”

“There is no iota of doubt in my mind that Osun is blessed with someone like Aregbesola who has traversed the political landscape especially when the road was rough and survived the turmoil to deliver good governance to his people.”
