The Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has described the death of former Head of Service in the state, Mr. Stephen Adetunji Adesipe as sudden and a great loss.
In a statement by the Director, Bureau of Communications and Strategy, Office of the Governor, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, Aregbesola described the demise of Mr. Adesipe as one great loss.
The Governor said Adesipe’s death will no doubt leave a huge vacuum in the pool of retired experienced civil servants in the state.
The statement said in part: “There is no gainsaying the fact that the state has lost one of its experienced civil servants.
“We valued his invaluable contributions to the civil service of the state even in retirement.
On behalf of myself and the entire people of the State of Osun, I offer our heart-felt condolences to the Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries of Osun, the civil service and the families of the deceased over this sad loss.
We pray that Almighty God would grant all of us, particularly his immediate family, all the fortitude to bear the loss. May his soul rest peacefully with his creator to whom all shall return”
