The former Governor of the State of Osun and Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will begin distribution of palliatives to residents of the state to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home order occasioned by the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.
The succoured package of the minister to ease pains of vulnerable and less privileged people across the state would be in circulation in no distant time.
The palliatives it was gathered underwent a rigorous scrutiny under a team of food experts and health officers led by Hon Idowu Korede, a certified Environmentalist and former Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation Matters.
The inspection according to R-connect was to ensure that the food
foods going into circulation will not jeopardize the health condition of the citizens of Osun.
“Though the suppliers of the food items are sons and daughters of Osun with proven integrity but, the team was instructed that all items must be properly inspected in order to be sure all supplies are 100% safe for consumption.
“Items in Aregbesola’s palliatives are; Rice, Beans, Spaghetti, Milk and Lipton Tea.
“The palliatives are all certified and confirmed, “OKAY”. And distribution has commenced simultaneously.
