Immediate-past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his loyalists – the Omoluabi Progressives Caucus are still members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is contained in a statement signed by the caucus spokesperson, Abosede Oluwaseun.
The caucus was reacting to a social media post by one of its members Kamorudeen Adabanija that the former Governor and his loyalists have dumped the APC and are set to join another party, describing it as untrue and not its official position.
THE FULL STATEMENT
The online media is awash with a statement credited to Kamorudeen Adabanija stating that “Aregbesola, Loyalists Dump APC,” to mean that both the former Minister of Interior and his loyalists in the Omoluabi Progressives are no longer members of the APC and are moving to another party.
