Aregbesola Makes Primary School Teachers Permanent Secretaries

The state government of Osun has blazed the trail in the recognition of teachers as pivotal to the development of human and material resources in the country by being the first State to appoint primary school teachers as Headmasters-general and Permanent Secretaries.

With this development, the reward of teachers is no longer in heaven, but right here on earth. Earlier, secondary school teachers had been appointed as Tutors-General and Permanent secretaries.

A statement signed by the Head of Service, Dr Olowogboyega Oyebade on behalf of the State Government made available to journalists in Osogbo, says the Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola lists the following as the newly appointed Headmasters- General and permanent secretaries: Safe Yekinni Morakinyo, Kehinde Akinremi Oyetunji, Isaac Adetayo Adeyemi , Simiat Bosede Ogunrinade, Saka Olalere Adesiyan.

Others are Olayinka Oyewole, Lukman Adisa Bakare, Hamza Ademola Adegbite and Mukaila Aderemi Onifade.

The statement adds that their appointment takes immediate effect.
