Aregbesola Swears In Salinsile As New Chief Of Staff

Governor Rauf Aregbesola has appointed and sworn-in Alhaji Abdulrazak Salinsile as his new Chief of Staff.

The two-in-one event was held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Osogbo on Wednesday evening shortly before the State Executive Council meeting.

Salinsile until his new appointment was the State Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

He takes over from Gboyega Oyetola, who resigned his appointment to contest the September 22 governorship election in the state on the platform of the APC.

A release from Aregbesola’s media adviser, Sola Fasure indicates that all members of council congratulated him and wished Salinsile well.

Fasure added that “Council approved the appointment of Elder Tunde Adedeji as the Chairman of Local Government Service Commission. Council congratulated him and wished him success in the new appointment.”

The State Executive Council according to Fasure also received and deliberated on a memorandum titled ‘The State of Osun Audit Bill 2018’.

The bill seeks to establish the State Audit Service Commission in order to entrench a dynamic audit system in line with global best practices.

“Council approved this memorandum and directed that it be sent to the House of Assembly as Executive to be passed into law”, Fasure noted.
