State Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Wednesday swore in the newly appointed Head of Service (HOS), Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade with a charge to bring to bear his wealth of experience and administrative acumen to the leadership of the State Civil Service.
Aregbesola who spoke at the Local Government Service Commission Hall of the State Secretariat in Osogbo, charged the new HOS to build a virile civil service with developmental direction of the present administration.
Dignitaries at the occasion include; the President of NULGE, State of Chapter Mr. Jacob Adeyeye, Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
Others are Commissioner for Cabinet Matters, Sen. Mudashiru Husain, Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Mudashiru Toogun, Mr. Lowo Adebiyi, the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Awogboro and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tax Matters, Barr Gbenga Akano among others.
Until his new appointment, Oyebade was permanent secretary, local government loans board, office of the governor.
He joined the Civil Service on January 11, 1991 through the Local Government Service Commission of the old Oyo State and was part of the Osun indigenes that returned home as pioneer staff of the newly created state on August 27, 1991.
