Oba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, Ilufemiloye Telu 1, Oluwo of Iwoland has said the zone will produce the next Governor of the state in 2018 to allow a fair balance of Political calculation in the state according to zoning arrangement.
The monarch stated this in his palace when ACCORD PARTY State Chairman in Osun State, Hon. Segun Ayodele Fanibe (Oko-Arugbo) visited him.
“The monarch who was elated in receiving the grassroot politician with the South-West chairman, Alhaji Dokun Babarinde and other Excos said, I’ve heard much about you, please, continuing doing the good works you are doing as there is reward for everything.”
“I know Iwo zone is to be the next Governor of the state and soonest; we will present a marketable candidate.”
“The stool I’m is not my making but God is the one who placed me on the throne and anybody that war against me wage war against God. Such individual will go down naturally and never rise up again.”
“Challenges makes man; if I don’t see challenges in a week, I look for it the following week, because for you to rise up in this world; you must constantly face challenges and overcome it or else you’re dead without challenges,” he said.
Whatever I have is given to me by God and I use it to benefit mankind.
