Armed robbers shot one person dead while attacking filling station in Akure, ondo state.
The robbers, according to reports, struck around half past 7 a.m. on Saturday at the Damorotex petrol station on Oda road in Akure.
Eyewithness claimed four gunmen, stormed the petrol station with two motorcycles.
The robbers fired sporadically into the air before entering the station’s office, according to an eyewitness, and carted away an undisclosed sum of money, in the process, one person, a member of the station’s staff, was killed.
However, according to another eyewitness, no one was killed during the robbery.
Spokesman of the state police command, Tee Leo Ikoro is yet to confirm the incident.
