The Lagos teacher, Stella Nwadigo, who was captured on video physically assaulting a three-year-old pupil, Abayomi Michael, at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, has been seen crying uncontrollably at the police station, pleading for forgiveness.
Osun Defender gathered that Nwadigo, who was arrested earlier at the school, was filmed in a now-viral clip weeping profusely and begging for help as she faced the reality of her actions.
In the footage, the teacher repeatedly apologized, claiming she never intended to harm the child.

This development comes after a police operative was seen in another video addressing her during her arrest at the school.
The officer, in clear terms, declared, “Under the President of Nigeria, the Governor of Lagos State, and my CP, you are under arrest,” before escorting her out of the premises.
The arrest, which has been widely commended, followed public outrage over the earlier video showing Nwadigo harshly slapping and maltreating the three-year-old pupil for failing to write some numbers correctly.
