Atiku Abubakar Southwest Assembly Appoints Ogunwale As Chairman

 

 

A Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who represented Osun Central Senatorial District between 2003-2007 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Felix Ogunwale, has been named the Chairman of Atiku Abubakar South-West Assembly.

 

In a statement made available to newsmen yesterday, Ogunwale’s appointment and that of others was ratified at the extraordinary caucus meeting of the assembly held yesterday in Ibadan, Oyo State.

 

Ogunwale, popularly known as Jumokol, is bringing on board a towering wealth of experience, courage and astuteness, according to the statement.

 

The statement said the Chairman shall side-by-side with other key stakeholders lead critical engagements and strategic campaigns in the South-West for the PDP presidential candidate for 2023 general election.

 

Atiku Abubakar Southwest Assembly is a group of political associates, friends and staunch loyalists of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
