Atiku Meets Obasanjo Behind Closed-Door

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar is currently in a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Atiku arrived the Pent house residence of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, around 10am on Saturday.

Recall that Atiku was Obasanjo’s deputy when they both ruled the nation from 1999 to 2007.

The former Vice President has made various attempts to rule the nation, but to no avail.

In 2019, he contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but he lost to the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is not clear whether or not he will run for the presidency in 2023.
