August 15th: Respect Osun Electorates’ Will -Adeleke Campaign Organisation Tells APC Leaders
The Adeleke Campaign Organisation, has accused some top leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State of planning to cause post-election chaos if Governor Adeleke wins the August 15 gubernatorial election.
The organisation in a statement on Saturday, warned that anybody or group of people attempting to create chaos after Adeleke’s re-election would have to contend with the Osun people.
The statement read, “Our attention has been drawn to a leaked threat by some top Osun APC leaders to create post – election chaos if Governor Ademola Adeleke eventually wins the August 15 governorship elections.
“The leaked conversation confirmed acknowledgement by Osun APC top echelon that Governor Adeleke is set to win the August 15 election by over 200, 000 vote margin.
“We however strongly scold the APC caucus leaders engaged in the leaked conversations for their deepening delusion of fighting the people even when they lack political insurance that can only be provided by God and man.
“Having admitted that Governor Adeleke has the mass support of the people and having expressed frustration at the likelihood of the governor winning the August 15 polls, we task Mr Oyetola and his boy, Mr Oyebamiji to bow to the will of Osun people and wait till 2030 to try their luck again.”

The statement further read, “Seeking to manipulate electoral officials and plotting to announce fake results are a failed tactic before they start. Level playing field will be enforced and free and fair elections will hold in Osun whether Mr Oyetola likes it or not.
“We warn anybody or group of people attempting to create chaos after Governor Adeleke is re-elected, that mass revolt awaits them from the electorate. Osun people will not only vote but will also protect the integrity and sanctity of their votes.
“We call on Osun people to rise in defence of democracy and their right to vote and be voted for. Organise yourself across voting units, wards and local governments and protect good governance and democratic dividends.”
