Nollywood Actors on Tuesday denied the rumoured death of ace Yoruba movie actor, Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba Suwe.
The news of the death of the veteran thespian filtered on Social media with the reports claiming the passing away of the actor who was flown out of the country few weeks ago for treatment of a long term illness.
The President of TAMPAN which is the association of Yoruba Nollywood Actors in the country, Bolaji Amusan a.k.a Mr Latin said in an Instagram video on Tuesday that Baba Suwe is hale and hearty.
He denied the trending reports on Social Media calling on Nigerians to disregard the “fake news.”
Also, an actor, Yomi Fabiyi who has been updating the media about the actor’s state of Health also corroborated Mr Amusan’s position reiterated Baba Suwe’s status being alive in a short video on Instagram noting that the actor’s Health was in good condition as he spoke to him around 4:30pm on Tuesday.
