Baba Tee Denies Affair With Ijoba Lande’s Wife, Demands Proof
Yoruba comic actor Baba Tee has responded to allegations by fellow comedian Ijoba Lande, who accused him of having an affair with his wife.
Lande had earlier claimed that his wife left him after he discovered her alleged infidelity, stating that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry were involved with her.
Among those he called out was Baba Tee, whom he mentioned in an Instagram post.

Reacting in an Instagram video, Baba Tee denied the allegations, stating that he only met Lande’s wife last year through actress Marygold.

He explained that Marygold introduced her as a content creator and upcoming artiste, and he only discovered her true identity after overhearing a conversation between her and Marygold.
Baba Tee expressed shock over Lande’s public accusations, saying he had only met him once. He then challenged Lande to provide proof of his claims.
“I have never met Lande’s wife all my life, never spoken to her, I did not even know what she looks like until mid last year when Marygold called me as regards an MC job, because I am a standup comedian as well,” he said.
“She called that she was in my estate and she wanted to see me regarding the launch of her movie. Marygold actually came, but she barged in with a total stranger and I had to question why she would bring someone I did not know to my house.
“Marygold said that girl is a content creator and upcoming artiste, that was how she introduced the girl to me. I overheard them talking in my apartment, Marygold was saying it seems Baba Tee is already aware.
“I had to barge in and ask what does Baba Tee know? It took a while before she confessed to me that the lady was Lande’s wife. And I was like why did you not introduce her as Lande’s wife, why introduce her as Dara, the content creator?
“The next thing I heard was Lande calling me out on Instagram, raining insults on me and saying he used to prostrate for me. I was shocked because I have only seen Lande once in my life.
“Lande, I am putting this to you, present the evidence for the allegations levied against me. Present the evidence to the world where I am sleeping with your wife and having an affair with her.”
