The kidnaped was confirmed by his coursemates who said Idris was kidnapped last week Tuesday immediately he left the campus to travel to his home state, Zamfara.
“We finished our exams and he was going home like everybody when he was kidnapped. At first he was declared missing but later the bandits called to inform his family that he was kidnapped by them,” one of his coursemates said.

The coursemate also said the frequent threats from terrorists to kill the student left his classmates with little choice but to start soliciting donations for his release on social media.
