Bayelsa State deputy governor, Senator Lawrence Oborawharievwo Ewhrudjakpo, has slumped and died on Thursday. He was aged 60.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm while the deputy governor was in his office, prompting an emergency response.
He was rushed to the hospital’s emergency unit.
Family sources told Saharareporters that he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
