BBC: Multichoice Removes TB Joshua’s Emmanuel TV From DStv
South African satellite television company (Multichoice) has notified viewers of its plan to discontinue the broadcast of the religious network, Emmanuel TV.
Emmanuel TV is used to broadcast the religious activities performed by the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua.
This is coming after the controversial documentary reports by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) about the late TB Joshua.
BBC in the report, alleged that the late pastor tortured and raped perpetrated some members of the church during his time on earth.
Multichoice announced it would remove Emmanuel TV from DStv with immediate effect from January 17th, 2024.
A notification on DStv conveyed, “Dear viewer, please note that Emmanuel TV will exit on the 17th of January 2024. Thank you for watching.”
