The Management of Bet9ja Nigeria National League says Saturday, the 31st of March is the a new kick-off date for the second tier League for 2017-2018 season
The middle League was earlier scheduled to start on the 3rd of this month but had to be postponed following the increased number of teams competing from 36 to 40.
The Chief Operating Officer of NNL, Mr.Lawrence Katken who disclosed this said registration date for the season has also been extended and will now end on Friday, the 23rd March, 2018.
According to Katken, clubs who fail to meet the registration requirements risk disqualification from participating in the League.
The forty clubs in the 2018 League have been abridged into four divisions of A1, A2, B1 and B2 with ten teams in each group.
The best two teams will qualifier from the divisions to make a Super 8 that will contest in a neutral ground for tickets into the Nigeria Professional Football League.
