Bloody May Day In Adamawa As Over 60 Killed In Bomb Blasts And Other Headlines Today

It appears that the bloodshed currently witnessed in some parts of Northern Nigeria in recent months will not abate as the ugly trend hit Adamawa State yesterday, May 1 which is used to celebrate workers in the most populous black nation.

NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, VANGUARD and the SUN report the story as their lead with different figures. The report says that no fewer than 60 persons were feared dead, yesterday, as twin bomb hit a mosque and nearby market in Mubi, Adamawa State.

While eyewitness account said at least 42 persons were killed, with many others critically injured, Adamawa State Police Command confirmed 24.
