A one day seminar in herbal research would hold for herbal practitioners under the aegis of United Nigeria Herbalists Association (UNHA), Osun State chapter on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Herbal Village, Ayepe, Ikirun road, Osogbo.
According to the organizers, Bofest Consulting Incorporation, the objective is to train and promote herbs through knowledge and researches.
“There is no doubt that roots and leafs is the best food for the body but it is very painful that our people are not serious.
“The way herbal practitioners practice their trade somehow embarrass the association, this is why UNHA is partnering with BOFEST to organise the seminar”.
The programme which will start at 10:00am prompt will have the Osun State NAFDAC Coordinator and Osun Commissioner for health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu as participants.
Highlights of the programmes include Awards presentation to some of those who dedicated their time to positively promoting the image of the association.
Some of the awardees are; Alhaji Aniyikaye Mustafa (Posthumous), the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Dr. Kamilu Aniyikaye; Dr Otunba Adedayo Ganiyu, Alhaji Sakariyau Kojumaribi; and Alhaji Adewale Maruf, MD Gangaria.
Others include; Prince Oyedeji Sakariyau, Alhaji Oladosu Rasheed, the Association secretary, Dr Olatunji Maruf, Chief Bello, Alhaji Nua Oladipupo, Dr Olasupo Lateef, Dr Adegbite Yinusa; Mr Lukman Ussein, Adesupo AbdulRassaq; Alhaji Salawudeen Ganiyu; Alhaji Isah Ademola; Alhaji Aponle Mashood, Alhaji Owolabi Kasali among others.
