Boripe North LCDA Boss Pledges More Development
Chairman, Boripe North Local Council Development Area, (LCDA), Prince Adebola Adejumo has promised the people of the council area the commitment of his administration to social and infrastructural development of the area.
Adejumo, during a Church Thanksgiving Programme at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Ororuwo recently solicited the support of the traditional rulers, religious community and political leaders towards bringing more development to the area.
The Chairman said despite paucity of funds, the state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the All Progressive Congress are determined to bring the desired development to the people at the grassroots.
According to Adejumo, in no distant time, his administration will justify the mandate given to him and his cabinet members by the people of the council.
In his sermon, the Presiding Overseer, Reverend Father Gabriel Adeniyi, counselled the new council leadership to fear God and always follow his path, saying no matter how difficult any challenge, they would overcome it if they stand by God.
He said they should consider the opportunity to serve their people as grace of God out of thousands and urged them to always see power and resource as trust that belong to the people.
Adeniyi however urged the new leadership to strive hard in developing the council to leave a worthy legacy that would be remembered by the yet unborn generation.
Also, the Olororuwo of Ororuwo, Oba Quamarudeen Adeyanju congratulated the Chairman and his cabinet on their success at the polls and urged them not to forget their promises, just as he assured them the support of the traditional rulers in the LCDA.
Other elected parliamentarians of the council are, Hon. Akinyemi Joseph, Vice Chairman; Hon. Adeniji Gbenga Jacob, Leader of the House; Hon. Folorunso Babatunde Abiodun, Deputy Leader; Hon. Adebiyi Babatunde Kolawole, Hon. Abdulsalam Akeem Ademola and Hon. Bello Azeez Adeleke.
