Boripe North LCDA Gets Acting Chairman

Honourable Akinyemi Joseph Segun has emerged as the acting Chairman of Boripe North Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

This is coming on the heels of the demise of the LCDA’s former boss, Hon. Bola Adejumo who passed on recently.

The decision to this effect was reached recently at a sitting of the LCDA’s parliament.

Speaking shortly after his emergence, the new acting Council Chairman assured that he would not deviate from the course of the progressives.

More importantly, Akinyemi assured further that he would work relentlessly to turn around the fortune of the council with a view to improving its standard and that of the people.

He asserted that this could only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation from all stakeholder s.

The council boss then called for the support of other Parliamentarians, Career Officers, traditional and community leaders as well as political leaders.

Meanwhile, the Leader of the House, Hon Gbenga Adeniji has noted that since there should not be a vacuum, the parliamentarians deemed it fit to elect an acting Chairman to be at the helms of affairs of the council pending the emergence of a substantive Chairman.
