The Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission in the State of Osun, Elder Peter Babalola have stepped down from the governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) holding today.
The duo stated this in separate statements on Friday morning.
While the SSG says he is still in the governorship race, Elder Babalola appealed for peace and calm.
The withdrawal of the two aspirants according to media reports suggest that the chances of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola to win and clinch the party’s ticket is brighter with the development.
