{BREAKING} EURO 2020: Denmark Midfielder, Eriksen Slumps During Match

There are worrying scenes coming during the Denmark vs Finland match at Euro 2020, with Christian Eriksen having collapsed under no pressure from any opponent.

The Denmark midfielder received the ball and fell head over heels into the pitch, which instantly caused referee Anthony Taylor to signal for the medical team to come on.

The Denmark players shielded their stricken hero from the public view by surrounding him and the medical team.

Many of the Denmark players are clearly distraught by the situation with Eriksen, including Thomas Delaney, who was in tears. The Finland players and staff are visibly worried, too.

There have been efforts to resuscitate Eriksen, but as at the time of filing this report, there is no news on the matter.

In addition, the match has been suspended while the football world awaits an official statement on the incident.
