Following Saturday’s Postponement of the 2019 General Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, the commission on Monday extended the time of campaign till Thursday, 21st February, 2019.
Campaigns were bounded to have closed on Thursday, 14th February but the new window was created due to the Postponement of the election earlier scheduled for February 16 to February 23rd.
