Osun United have been banished to play their subsequent home matches of the ongoing 2020/2021 Nigeria National League season at the Ilorin Township Stadium.
The team are to also pay a fine of three hundred thousand naira (N300,000).
This follows the disobedience of COVID-19 protocol at their week 4 NNL home game against Vandrezzer FC at the Osogbo Township stadium.
The League body in a video sent to them noticed a large number of spectators at the stadium and gate takings and damage of the visitor’s gadgets.
Also, the match-day 4 game between the two sides will be replayed at the a neutral venue.
“Osun United FC is hereby fined the sum of N300,000 (three hundred thousand naira) only for breach of COVID-19 protocols as directed by the Ieague body via our circular 119. This payment must be made before your next home game.
“For the breach of closed doors order by Osun United FC and Osun State Football Association, the match is considered as no match.
“Therefore, it shall be replayed at a neutral ground with Osun United FC bearing aII the cost of indemnities of match officials,” the NNL statement reads.
