Breaking: Osun APC declares Suspension of Aregbesola Loyalist Null And Void

The All Progressives Congress in the State of Osun has declared the purported suspension of the former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, Barr. Kolapo Alimi, null and void.

Barely 24 hours after some Ward Executives of the former Commissioner via a statement made available to newsmen, announced the suspension of the Erin Osun born Barrister, the State legal adviser, Barrister Adegoke Ogunsola, through a statement, a copy which was obtained by OSUN DEFENDER nullifies the suspension.

Adegoke stated that the procedure by which the suspension was effected by the Ward 9 Executives of Irepodun Local Government Area where Alimi hailed from, is defective, irregular and devoid of procedural principle of law stated by the party’s constitution to effect punishment.

It would be recalled that the suspension had been condemned by larger percentage of APC members within and outside the State.
