The state government of Osun has confirmed the discovery of the missing positive Coronavirus patient who absconded from the Ejigbo isolation centre in the early hours of the day.
The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Ismail Omipidan who stated this in a Facebook post however did not reveal where the person was recaptured and his/her current location.
The Osun government had earlier raised an alarm that undisclosed person who is among the recent returnees from Cote d’ivoire suspected to a carrier of the pandemic Coronavirus has vanished from the Ejigbo isolation centre.
According to a statement signed by Funke Egbemode, Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation denied a rumour in the which stated that six out of the 127 returnees were on the run.
