President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the State House, Abuja after attending African Union’s meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The president arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon from where he was taken to the State House on a jet.
It was gathered that Buhari was received on arrival by some members of the Federal Executive Council, security chiefs, among others.
While in Addis Ababa, Buhari met with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed where he said African growth and development would require strong, visionary leadership that caters for the needs of the people, and effectively strengthens institutions that encourage peaceful co-existence, while providing disincentives to conflicts and coups.
