President Muhammadu Buhari has on Saturday expressed his displeasure over the unending killings in Zamfara State by bandits.
A statement by the President’s New Media aide, Bashir Ahmad, Buhari said it is impossible for him to be unconcerned about the killings and the plight of the victims and their families.
He said, “How can I be happy and indifferent to the senseless killings of my fellow citizens by bandits? I am human and I understand the pains of the victims and their families who have been traumatized and impoverished by constant ransom demands by bandits”.
Bandits have been terrorising the State in recent times, leaving an unconfirmed number of persons dead.
