This was contained in a statement on Friday evening by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Musa Ashom.
The collapse at Saints Academy during an examination session left numerous students injured, prompting an immediate need for medical supplies, particularly blood donations.
It was learnt that the state government’s appeal has been broadcast repeatedly on state-owned radio and television stations, urging every able-bodied individual to come forward and contribute to the lifesaving efforts.
The Plateau Specialists Hospital, where many of the injured are being treated, has become the focal point for the donation drive.
