Burna Boy Is Bigger Than Davido, Wizkid – Terry G

Veteran singer Terry G, in his opinion, has proclaimed Burna Boy as a bigger artiste than Wizkid and Davido.

During his appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, Husband Material, and Toun Cole, on Monday, the “Akpako Master” did not mince words as he weighed in on the long-standing Wizkid versus Davido debate.

“The Wizkid vs. Davido debate, to me, is lame. Davido is the king of Africa. He has an African audience. He sings unapologetic African music,” Terry G stated in Pidgin English.

However, the singer was quick to distinguish Wizkid’s musical approach from that of Burna Boy, whom he hailed as the true “king” with both continental and international appeal.

“But Wizkid’s mindset is targeted at crossover. His music no dey too relate to us (Africans),” Terry G asserted. “Burna Boy na im get Africa and International. He is their king. Burna pass two of them.”
