No fewer than 448 students would graduate from the Redeemers University, Ede at its 12th convocation ceremony.
The ceremony would be held between November 8 and 10, 2020.
General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God and Visitor to the University, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, will be commissioning 448 future global leaders during impartation service for the graduands on Sunday.
The convocation ceremony, according to the Public Relations Officer of the University, Adetunji Adeleye, would be held virtually on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
The three-day programme will be broadcast through the state-of-the-art media technology backed and powered by the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 192 countries where its parishes are situated.
Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Anthony Akinlo, said 448 students comprising both undergraduate and postgraduate will be awarded degrees.
Akinlo said that the set, christened: Daniel Generation, has been raised as global leaders and change-agents, imbued with God-fearing attributes.
He added that the graduands were specially commissioned to set standards through a continuous commitment to excellence geared towards a transformative impact on society.
The V.C. also revealed that the Convocation Lecture will be delivered by the Chairman, First Bank Plc, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, with the theme: Entrepreneurship, Agriculture and Youth Empowerment.
Explaining the choice of Awosika, he said she is a renowned motivational speaker and management thought leader.
