Chelsea ladies are through to the UEFA Women’s Champions League final for the first time in their history after defeating Bayern Munich ladies 5 goals to 3 on aggregate.
Chelsea had lost the first leg 2 – 1 in Munich but came back strongly in the second leg by defeating Bayern Munich 4 goals to 1 in London.
They become only the second English finalists after London rivals Arsenal took the title in 2007.
They will play Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Sunday, May 16 at Gamla Ullevi, Gothenburg.
