The Nigeria Democratic Congress Party NDCP has urged parents to take good care of their children so as to make them responsible leaders of tomorrow.
The party described Children as important assets to the society who must be given all necessary care to become relevant to the socio-economic development of the Nigerian federation.
A statement signed by the party’s Founder and Presidential Candidate, Dr Johnson Edosomwan stressed the need for all stakeholders especially government at all levels to create an enabling environment for Nigerian Children to benefit the needed social and economic rights.
“Children are rare gifts from God. That’s why they should be properly taken care of. Right from childhood, parents must strive to give their children the proper training and education.”
“Aside this, the society should also help by ensuring that young people are properly monitored in playing their own role as a key agent of socialisation.”
Edosomwan stated that “The Federal, State and Local Governments must also remain proactive to its duties by strengthening relevant institutions to make Children realise their Future Potentials.”
The NDCP Presidential candidate promised a better welfare packages for Nigerian children especially those in Internally Displaced Peoples Camps IDPs across the country.
