Christmas: Osun APC Chairman Preaches Religious Tolerance, Understanding

 

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun, Hon. Rasaq Salinsile, has called for more robust relationship among members of various religions in the state, saying that religious harmony guarantees peace in the society.

Salinsile, in a congratulatory message to Christians in the state for this year’s Christmas, lauded members of the APC, and the people of the State at large, for being tolerant of one another on their religious differences.

He commended the people of the state for the reigning peace among the various religious faithful, stating that they have shown the world the level of their religious understanding.

Salinsile noted: “Christmas is a special season; a season of joy, happiness, peace and great tidings. It is a season to share with loved and less privileged ones.”

He urged the people of the state to understand and make use of the lessons of Christmas to have a better society.
