COAS CRASH: Osun Community Sets To Honor Son

Youths in Ora Igbomina under the aegis of Ora Youth Development Font, have rolled out program of event to honor one of their members who died in the ill-fated aircraft crash that claimed the lives of over 10 personnel, including the Chief of Army Staff.

According to a statement from the group, jointly signed by Comrades Omololu Abidoye and Biodun Folayan, a copy which was made available to OSUN DEFENDER, the community will on Thursday hold a prayer session and candle light procession in honor of their late brother and son of the soil, ACM Mathew Olamide Oyedepo.

The statement reads, “with shattered hearts and total submission to the will of God, OYDF, invites the general public to a night of tribute and prayer session, in honor of one of us, our Brother and son of Ora-Igbomina, ACM OYEDEPO OLAMIDE, who lost his live in the course of National assignment, alongside the Chief of Army Staff and others.

“The program which is tagged; ‘A Walk Through His Childhood Grounds’ will hold at Ora-Igbomina, on Thursday”.
